Use of AI Statement

As an academic journal committed to the highest standards of integrity and scholarly excellence, Journal Of Sinar Psychological Science (JSPS) outlines the following policy on the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation and submission.

AI Cannot Be Credited as an Author
AI tools and technologies cannot be listed as an author or co-author of any manuscript submitted to JSPS. Authorship implies accountability and responsibility for the submitted work, which cannot be fulfilled by an AI system. All named authors remain fully responsible for the entire content of the manuscript, including parts assisted by AI.

Transparency in AI Assistance
Authors are strongly advised to disclose any AI tool usage in their manuscript preparation, specifying the name, version, and the nature and extent of AI involvement in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.

Originality and Authorship
The manuscript's core ideas, arguments, interpretation of findings, and content must originate from human authors, ensuring the originality and integrity of the work are maintained.

Ethical Use of AI
AI tools must be used ethically and legally, complying with data protection and privacy laws, especially when processing personal, clinical, or other sensitive psychological data. Authors must not input confidential, unpublished, or identifiable participant data into publicly available generative AI tools without appropriate ethical clearance and informed consent.

Quality and Accuracy
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and quality of their submissions, including AI-generated content, ensuring they meet the journal's scholarly standards and are free from fabrication, bias, or misinformation.

Citation and References
All AI-generated data, models, algorithms, or code must be appropriately cited, with proper attribution to publicly available tools or datasets used.

AI-Generated Data
Authors should clearly describe AI methodologies used to generate or analyze data, including tools and parameters used, and discuss limitations and assumptions to allow for critical evaluation by reviewers and readers.

Peer Review and Editorial Scrutiny
Manuscripts utilizing AI tools are subject to rigorous peer review, and the editorial team reserves the right to inquire further into AI tool specifics. Reviewers and editors are prohibited from uploading any part of a submitted manuscript into public generative AI tools, in order to protect the confidentiality of the peer review process and the intellectual property of the authors.

Adherence to Community Standards
Authors are encouraged to adhere to evolving best practices and ethical guidelines in the psychological research community regarding AI tool usage.

Authors agree to comply with this AI Tools Usage Policy before submitting a manuscript to JSPS. Non-compliance may result in manuscript rejection or retraction, impacting future submission eligibility.
